This is the initial fork of the code base from freedsktop.org.
The code is provided here as a reference of the initial starting
point and for possible future checkouts after a large portion
of this code is removed.

+                <para>A unit configuration file whose name ends in
+                <filename>.target</filename> encodes information about
+                a target unit of systemd, which is used for grouping
+                units and as well-known synchronization points during
+                start-up.</para>
