2015-01-21src/ata_id/Makefile.am: Fixed compilation errorEmmanuel Benoît
It is necessary to include src/udev to the include path, because ata_id.c includes src/shared/udev-util.h which itself includes src/udev/udev.h

2014-12-01treewide: use log_*_errno whenever %m is in the format stringMichal Schmidt
If the format string contains %m, clearly errno must have a meaningful value, so we might as well use log_*_errno to have ERRNO= logged. Using: find . -name '*.[ch]' | xargs sed -r -i -e \ 's/log_(debug|info|notice|warning|error|emergency)\((".*%m.*")/log_\1_errno(errno, \2/' Plus some whitespace, linewrap, and indent adjustments. 2014-04-05Revisit issue #87: fails to build on linux headers 3.13Anthony G. Basile
We switch to defining _GNU_SOURCE as we do for cdrom_id.c for a more consistant approach to this issue. Signed-off-by: Anthony G. Basile <blueness@gentoo.org>
2014-03-22Revisit issue #87: fails to build on linux headers 3.13Anthony G. Basile
Dropping <fcntl.h> in favor of <linux/fcntl.h> is incorrect. Yet uClibc needs O_CLOEXEC from <linux/fcntl.h>. So we re-introduce <fcntl.h> and include <linux/fcntl.h> only on uClibc systems to avoid redefinitions. Signed-off-by: Anthony G. Basile <blueness@gentoo.org>
2014-03-15Fix issue #87: fails to build on linux headers 3.13Anthony G. Basile
Commit 80b10107cb added #include <linux/fcntl.h> in src/accelerometer and friends for builds on uclibc. This only works with glibc and musl systems with linux headers 3.9 but fails with linux headers 3.13. We keep <linux/fcntl.h> but drop <fcntl.h>. Signed-off-by: Anthony G. 2014-01-09Add more _printf_'s for format-nonliteralsThomas Hindoe Paaboel Andersen
Clang is a bit more strict wrt format-nonliterals: http://clang.llvm.org/docs/LanguageExtensions.html#format-string-checking Adding these extra printf attributes also makes gcc able to find more problems. E.g. this patch uncovers a format issue in udev-builtin-path_id.c Some parts looked intetional about breaking the format-nonliteral check. I added some supression for warnings there. 2013-06-02udev/ata_id: zero out variable properlyZbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek
b8a2b0f76 'use initalization instead of explicit zeroing' introduced a bug where only the first sizeof(uint_t*) bytes would be zeroed out, instead of the whole array.

2012-11-24Fix paths: test/udev-test.pl now works under sudo make distcheckAnthony G. Basile
We move the test-udev.c and test-libudev.c from src/test to test. This corrects the a problem with hard coded relative paths finding the test/test/sys directory created by test/udev-test.pl. This commit draws heavily from nvinson patch in https://github.com/gentoo/eudev/pull/20 Signed-off-by: Anthony G. Basile <blueness@gentoo.org>
2012-11-23Consolidate configuration of all installation paths into configure.acAnthony G. Basile
The configuration of the installation paths for various components was scattered between the main configure.ac file and the various Makefile.am's. These components are: udev config file, hwdb, keymaps and force-release keymaps and the rules. This commit consolidates them all into one point in configure.ac and anticipates the inclusion of new AM_CPPFLAGS of the form -DHWDB_BIN=@udevhwdbdir@ as upstream has done, so it is easier to address issues like: https://github.com/gentoo/eudev/issues/17 Signed-off-by: Anthony G.
