2015-12-06shared: include what we useThomas Hindoe Paaboel Andersen
The next step of a general cleanup of our includes. This one mostly adds missing includes but there are a few removals as well.
2015-08-24core: optionally create LOGIN_PROCESS or USER_PROCESS utmp entriesLennart Poettering
When generating utmp/wtmp entries, optionally add both LOGIN_PROCESS and INIT_PROCESS entries or even all three of LOGIN_PROCESS, INIT_PROCESS and USER_PROCESS entries, instead of just a single INIT_PROCESS entry. With this change systemd may be used to not only invoke a getty directly in a SysV-compliant way but alternatively also a login(1) implementation or even forego getty and login entirely, and invoke arbitrary shells in a way that they appear in who(1) or w(1). This is preparation for a later commit that adds a "machinectl shell" operation to invoke a shell in a container, in a way that is compatible with who(1) and w(1).

2015-04-24shared/utmp-wtmp: add parameter for origin tty and callback userdataDaniel Mack
Instead of looking up the tty from STDIN, let utmp_wall() take an argument to specify an origin tty for the wall message. Only if that argument is NULL do the STDIN lookup. Also add an void *userdata argument that is handed back to the callback function.
2014-09-26make utmp/wtmp support configurableEmil Renner Berthing
This adds --disable-utmp option to configure. If it is used, all utmp-related functionality, including querying runlevel support, is removed.
2014-03-14utmp-wtmp: allow overriding username on wallSebastian Thorarensen
utmp_wall() now takes an optional argument 'username_override' which allows the caller to override the username shown on wall messages. journald will use this to inform users that its wall messages comes from 'systemd-journald'.
2012-07-19use #pragma once instead of foo*foo #define guardsShawn Landden
#pragma once has been "un-deprecated" in gcc since 3.3, and is widely supported in other compilers. I've been using and maintaining (rebasing) this patch for a while now, as it annoyed me to see #ifndef fooblahfoo, etc all over the place, almost arrogant about the annoyance of having to define all these names to perform a commen but neccicary functionality, when a completely superior alternative exists. I havn't sent it till now, cause its kindof a style change, and it is bad voodoo to mess with style that has been established by more established editors. So feel free to lambast me as a crazy bafoon. v2 - preserve externally used headers
