If the format string contains %m, clearly errno must have a meaningful
value, so we might as well use log_*_errno to have ERRNO= logged.
Using:
find . -name '*.[ch]' | xargs sed -r -i -e \
's/log_(debug|info|notice|warning|error|emergency)\((".*%m.*")/log_\1_errno(errno, \2/'
Plus some whitespace, linewrap, and indent adjustments.

As a followup to 086891e5c1 "log: add an "error" parameter to all
low-level logging calls and intrdouce log_error_errno() as log calls
that take error numbers", use sed to convert the simple cases to use
the new macros:
find . -name '*.[ch]' | xargs sed -r -i -e \
's/log_(debug|info|notice|warning|error|emergency)\("(.*)%s"(.*), strerror\(-([a-zA-Z_]+)\)\);/log_\1_errno(-\4, "\2%m"\3);/'
Multi-line log_*() invocations are not covered.
And we also should add log_unit_*_errno().

The way the kernel namespaces have been implemented breaks assumptions
udev made regarding uevent sequence numbers. Creating devices in a
namespace "steals" uevents and its sequence numbers from the host. It
confuses the "udevadmin settle" logic, which might block until util a
timeout is reached, even when no uevent is pending.
Remove any assumptions about sequence numbers and deprecate libudev's
API exposing these numbers; none of that can reliably be used anymore
when namespaces are involved.

If -flto is used then gcc will generate a lot more warnings than before,
among them a number of use-without-initialization warnings. Most of them
without are false positives, but let's make them go away, because it
doesn't really matter.

In trying to track down a stupid linker bug, I noticed a bunch of
memset() calls that should be using memzero() to make it more "obvious"
that the options are correct (i.e. 0 is not the length, but the data to
set). So fix up all current calls to memset(foo, 0, length) to
memzero(foo, length).

sys/poll.h is a legacy alias used by glibc.
according to POSIX #include <poll.h> is correct.
on GLIBC, the POSIX header includes sys/poll.h, so everything
continues working as it should.

This code was accidentally removed in commit

We restore it here. Since most modern systems have accept4()
this code will seldom be triggered. You can test by configuring
as follows:

Avoid "sender uid=65534, message ignored" case, where no credentials can
be read on the sender side.
Seems, the server socket does not enable credential receiving fast
enough, and the message from the client (without credential) sometimes
is queued before the credential passing was active.

Commit ff2c503df091e6e4e9ab48cdb6df6ec8b7b525d0 introduced accept4() into
udev, which broke compatibility with kernels older than Linux 2.6.32 (or
Linux 2.6.36 on ARM). The purpose of accept4() is to permit
O_NONBLOCK and O_CLOEXEC to be specified at the accept() call site
while previously, they had to be set using fcntl() because Linux does
not inherit them.
Since accept4() increases the minimum kernel version, we add a fallback
path for situations in which it is unavailable.
