From 798c486fbcdce3346cd862c52e1a200bb8a2cb23 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Daniel Mack Date: Fri, 12 Feb 2016 15:25:27 +0100 Subject: remove bus-proxyd As kdbus won't land in the anticipated way, the bus-proxy is not needed in its current form. It can be resurrected at any time thanks to the history, but for now, let's remove it from the sources. If we'll have a similar tool in the future, it will look quite differently anyway. Note that stdio-bridge is still available. It was restored from a version prior to f252ff17, and refactored to make use of the current APIs. --- README | 3 --- 1 file changed, 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'README') diff --git a/README b/README index 0a2c0df47d..41fb07a298 100644 --- a/README +++ b/README @@ -200,9 +200,6 @@ USERS AND GROUPS: Similarly, the name resolution daemon requires the "systemd-resolve" system user and group to exist. - Similarly, the kdbus dbus1 proxy daemon requires the - "systemd-bus-proxy" system user and group to exist. - Similarly, the coredump support requires the "systemd-coredump" system user and group to exist. -- cgit v1.2.3-54-g00ecf
