From 2f2c539cd4af7ca526296adecff2a6f90d7d7b0c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Lennart Poettering Date: Tue, 19 Jul 2016 20:19:20 +0200 Subject: bootctl: rework to use common verbs parsing, and add searching of ESP path This rearranges bootctl a bit, so that it uses the usual verbs parsing routines, and automatically searches the ESP in /boot, /efi or /boot/efi, thus increasing compatibility with mainstream distros that insist on /boot/efi. This also adds minimal support for running bootctl in a container environment: when run inside a container verification of the ESP via raw block device access, trusting the container manager to mount the ESP correctly. Moreover, EFI variables are not accessed when running in the container. --- man/bootctl.xml | 6 ++++-- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'man/bootctl.xml') diff --git a/man/bootctl.xml b/man/bootctl.xml index 6e835c037f..82c162ee70 100644 --- a/man/bootctl.xml +++ b/man/bootctl.xml @@ -101,8 +101,10 @@ - - Path to the EFI system partition.
