From 646853bdd8b1337204643aa014ff3f1f49d91a4f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Topi Miettinen Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2016 06:20:38 +0000 Subject: fileio: simplify mkostemp_safe() (#4090) According to its manual page, flags given to mkostemp(3) shouldn't include O_RDWR, O_CREAT or O_EXCL flags as these are always included. Beyond those, the only flag that all callers (except a few tests where it probably doesn't matter) use is O_CLOEXEC, so set that unconditionally. --- src/test/test-terminal-util.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/test/test-terminal-util.c') diff --git a/src/test/test-terminal-util.c b/src/test/test-terminal-util.c index 84b448a095..373a1b70ba 100644 --- a/src/test/test-terminal-util.c +++ b/src/test/test-terminal-util.c @@ -50,7 +50,7 @@ static void test_read_one_char(void) { char name[] = "/tmp/test-read_one_char.XXXXXX"; int fd; - fd = mkostemp_safe(name, O_RDWR|O_CLOEXEC); + fd = mkostemp_safe(name); assert_se(fd >= 0); file = fdopen(fd, "r+"); assert_se(file); -- cgit v1.2.3-54-g00ecf
