From 646853bdd8b1337204643aa014ff3f1f49d91a4f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Topi Miettinen Date: Tue, 13 Sep 2016 06:20:38 +0000 Subject: fileio: simplify mkostemp_safe() (#4090) According to its manual page, flags given to mkostemp(3) shouldn't include O_RDWR, O_CREAT or O_EXCL flags as these are always included. Beyond those, the only flag that all callers (except a few tests where it probably doesn't matter) use is O_CLOEXEC, so set that unconditionally. --- src/test/test-tmpfiles.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src/test/test-tmpfiles.c') diff --git a/src/test/test-tmpfiles.c b/src/test/test-tmpfiles.c index b34ebeefb2..f35e6793b7 100644 --- a/src/test/test-tmpfiles.c +++ b/src/test/test-tmpfiles.c @@ -51,7 +51,7 @@ int main(int argc, char** argv) { log_debug("link1: %s", ans); assert_se(endswith(ans, " (deleted)")); - fd2 = mkostemp_safe(pattern, O_RDWR|O_CLOEXEC); + fd2 = mkostemp_safe(pattern); assert_se(fd >= 0); assert_se(unlink(pattern) == 0); -- cgit v1.2.3-54-g00ecf
