<para><command>systemd-logind</command> is a system service that
manages user logins. It is responsible for:</para>

operations such as system shutdown or sleep</para></listitem>

<listitem><para>Handling of power/sleep hardware

<listitem><para>Multi-seat management</para></listitem>
